Sarah
Wrote the songs, played guitar, sang and did most of the artwork for T-shirts, demo sleeves, fliers and the like.
Known for pinging plectrums mid song, NOT talking to crowds between songs, and plying new drummers with various substances immediately pre-gig, to ‘make life a bit more interesting’.
Helen
Played fiddle, sometimes sang into her pick-up, and (not being a big drinker) drove the van.
Known for her base-of-operations front room, her insatiable ‘guard’ dog and her incredible ability to acquire boyfriends with exactly the skills/equipment we needed at the time.
Dan
Played bass guitar and glow-in-the-dark didge, did the talking at gigs, and added inspired vocals when he felt the piece needed a ‘lift’.
Known for his dreads, nice legs and for introducing everyone to the world of tattoos. Also wrote some kick-ass bass lines.
Gareth
Played drums and eyed up girls.
Known for his utter commitment to buying a Bulldog Amsterdam bomber jacket, when the Heads played a gig in Holland. Duffin – do you know how close you came to missing the boat home?
